CHANUKAH MENORAH CONTEST

Call for Artists $1000.00 Grand Prize
Chanukah Menorah Design Competition and Auction
Deadline for Submissions: October 25, 2010
In collaboration with ArtsConnect and Leigh Square Community Arts Village, this Chanukah Menorah auction project will examine the "Celebration of Light" as practiced by those in the Jewish Faith. All works accepted will be on display at the Arts Village. Exhibition dates are November 13th, 2010- January 9th, 2011.Artists from all communities are welcome to submit artwork that interprets the meaning of Chanukah and the menorah design. For more information about the menorah and the observation of Chanukah, visit www.burquest.org. You do not have to be Jewish to participate. A detailed call for artists and complete submission guidelines are available online.
